We are offering a 5-day Advanced Course that will allow campers to continue to learn and experience the retail and fashion business in NYC. The Advanced Course focuses on two key elements of the fashion industry: fashion magazines and designing for the runway.
The creation of their own style magazine will involve everything from a "Letter From the Editor" to favorite fashion picks and trends.
The "Project Runway"-inspired course sees campers creating their own innovative and fresh looks by shopping at the market with their teams and remain within budget. They will then style a fellow fashion camper who will model their creation on our "mini-FashionCampNYC runway." The audience of campers, parents and friends will decide who has the most imaginative and cutting edge design!
In addition there are many field trips into the market to visit companies, exhibits and shop stores as well as great interaction with industry professionals.
Eligibility for the advanced week is prior attendance at FashionCampNYC.
Campers may enroll for the course, which begins on August 2nd, 2010!
